Project Topic	IMAGE-R will provide eye care professionals with a comprehensive system for automated retinal disease detection and quantification, to be applied for fast, cost-saving, standardized and accurate disease diagnosis and management. The consortium will apply state-of-the art machine learning to develop IMAGE-R’s computer-aided detection (CAD) algorithms for integration into a user-friendly platform. Performance and user acceptance of IMAGE-R will be confirmed through clinical validation.
