Project Topic	We will develop and demonstrate a unique solution boosting biogenic production of Coal Mine Methane (CMM) from abandoned coal mines. Our concept is to spread in a controlled manner a fertilizing mixture composed of salmon Soluble Protein Hydrolysate (SPH) and selected natural bacteria into the mines to favour the hydrogenotrophic methanogenic reaction. The CMM produced will be then collected and used to generate energy, instead of being released into the atmosphere as common practice dictates.
