| Project Topic | SOL-CT will develop a novel, ultra-fast solution for single-cell detection of Chlamydia Trachomatis (CT) based on unique CT profiles in urine and vaginal swabs. This diagnostic instrument (FAST-CT), which integrates a single cell isolation method with single cell MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry, will offer unprecedented capabilities in terms of time (4h to 15min), clinical sensitivity and costs (€20 per test). In SOL-CT, we will integrate and validate the product in a relevant clinical environment. |
