Project: Ultra-fast oxygen detection in exhaled breath gas for ergospirometric devices

Ergospirometry represents the future in non-invasive medical diagnosis of pulmonary and cardiovascular diseases, training optimization in sports and general fitness applications by means of breath gas analysis. In ergospirometric tests one key parameter is the oxygen uptake under physical stress, requiring very fast oxygen sensors for accurate measurements. In the project ahead, the existing oxygen sensors shall be replaced with new ultra-fast sensors resulting in enhanced diagnostic performance
