Project: Silica Coated Heat Exchangers

The objective of the project is to develop an industrial high volume coating method, for coating of heat exchangers, with a thin silica coating, NANOmel, developed by SiOx. The silica coating reduces fouling by more than 50%, without reducing the thermal efficiency. The pilot coating setup will demonstrate implementation of the technology in the commercial production line of Alfa Laval, which will enable bringing the technology to the market.
