Project: Value of end-of-life products to obtain building materials at low energy cost.

By using a pyrolysis process, Ets Maillot has developed an innovative approach to transform end-of-life products, such as non-food biomass, into 2 sub-products: pure carbon and minerals currently unused. On the basis of a prototype, the BioConcrete project aims to exploit these minerals to produce geopolymer binders. These geopolymer binders will be used to produce eco-concrete for the construction industry.
