| Project Topic | The project aims to develop and built a wearable dialysis system for renal patients. Preclinical tests will be conducted, including animal trials, in order to prepare for clinical trials. The technology builts upon EU-project Nephron+ that will be adapted to a continuous flow peritoneal dialysis system with a fluidic access to the abdomen, avoiding risky blood access. The project will deliver working prototypes with adequate efficacy and biocompatibility test reports (proof of concept). |
